Warren Kuhn Jr. – Board Member

Warren Kuhn Jr. has dedicated his life to serving his community through firefighting and disaster relief efforts. His journey began at the age of 14 when he joined the Salem Volunteer Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter in 1974. In 1979, Warren enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a firefighter. Upon returning to Arkansas in 1991, he joined the Army National Guard and resumed volunteering with the Salem Fire Department.

From 1996 to 2008, Warren served as the Disaster Relief Team Leader for the American Red Cross in Saline County, Arkansas, providing crucial assistance during times of crisis. Additionally, from 1991 to 2004, he held the roles of Fire Brigade Leader and Safety Officer at the Rineco Chemical Recycling Plant, ensuring the safety of personnel and facilities.

Warren’s commitment to firefighting extended to his volunteer service with the Haskell Fire Department, where he served from 1994 until his retirement as a lieutenant in 2018. Concurrently, from 2004 to 2018, Warren worked as a firefighter with the Bryant Fire Department, further honing his skills and dedication to the profession.

In his retirement, Warren remains active in preserving the history of firefighting by establishing and operating the “Station 4 Fire Museum” in the City of Haskell, Arkansas. Through his museum, Warren pays homage to the brave men and women who have served as firefighters, ensuring their legacy is honored and remembered for generations to come.
